Are you a new farmer/gardener? If you are interested in learning about how to better plan out your farm and connect with resources, consider signing up for Purdue Extension’s Beginning Farmer Program.

This 8-session program helps new and beginning farmers find success through creation of a practical action plan. Farmers will set goals, identify assets and challenges, and become aware of resources that can lead them towards a successfull farming operation.

Registration is $90 — Closes on Jan. 5th
Includes a digital copy of the Beginning Farmer workbook.
This program will be virtual via Zoom & use Google Classroom platform to share course materials & provide networking.

8 SESSIONS: Thursdays, Jan 8 – Feb 26th, 2026
7:00 – 8:30 PM EST
6:00 – 7:30 PM CST
Optional additional resource sessions will also be held between normal class sessions.
